We came over from Canada in February to start a new phase of our lives here in London. After seeing loads of flats around Clapham we were getting frustrated with either being beaten in the race to put a deposit down on decent places or by treated poorly by agents only interested in getting their commission as fast as possible. When Karen showed us the flat in SW4 she was the first agent who was genuinely interested in us as people and in what we were ideally looking for. It was refreshing. We were staying in a horrible airbnb and the Coronavirus epidemic was starting to escalate. It became clear we needed to move in faster before the country was put into ‘lockdown’. With only a week to sort references, contracts, furniture etc.
Karen was great at keeping us informed and managed everything smoothly and we moved into a lovely flat just in time.
